What is your favorite memory as a mummer?
In 1993, we performed in front of the judges at City Hall and listening to the excitement and roar of the crowd while performing such an enjoyable theme.
What is your favorite part of being a mummer?
Becoming more than friends with the club members. Becoming more like family and being around each other.
Do you have family in the brigade?
Besides my children Jacqueline and Rocco and my brother-in-law Donald, I consider the whole club my family. My father Dan Tursi Sr. was also Captain for 20 years and my brother Dan Tursi Jr. was captain for 6 years.
What is your occupation away from Mummery?
Most of life, I was a stone cutter running a granite shop. Now I’m enjoying life making mummers suits and coaching football and baseball.

What are the past offices you have held?
I held the position of Secretary from 2013-2017 now currently serving as Vice President.
How many years have you been marching?
I’ve been marching with Clevemore for 23 years. At just a year old my first suit was in 1996 when we did “Hotter Then Hell”.
What is your favorite memory as a mummer?
My favorite memory as a mummer came to be this year on New Year’s Day. Our club received 9 th prize for the first time in a long time. Also my brother Rocco won 4 th prize captain, bring the first plaque into our club in 16 years.
What is your favorite part of being a mummer?
Being a part of one big dysfunctional family. Having been born into Clevemore a lot of the club members have become my family. Whether we grew up together or some people have joined more recently, I consider each and every person in Clevemore to be part of our big family.
Do you have family in the brigade?
Yes, My grandfathers started out in the brigade and has now come to my generation, I currently march alongside my brother, Rocco Tursi the performing Captain. Along with my Father Ralph Tursi our current Capitan and my Uncle, Donald Cola our current president.
What is your occupation away from Mummery?
I currently work as a real-estate related scheduler/customer service rep, for Guardian Termite and Pest Control Inc. out of Berlin NJ.

What are the past offices you have held?
Preforming Captain is the only position I have held thus far.
How many years have you been marching?
I’ve been marching with the club for 16 years. My first year wearing a suit was 2003.
What is your favorite memory as a mummer?
My favorite memory to date would be finding out our results for the 2018 parade. Watching the excitement on everyone’s faces once 9th prize club and 4th prize captain were announced proved that in the end all our hard work is worth it.
What is your favorite part of being a mummer?
My favorite part of being a mummer would be the family and friendship bonds formed over the years. People I grew up with as a young kid are now my life long friends.
Do you have family in the brigade?
Yes, my entire family is part of the club. I currently march with my sister, Jacqueline. I am also happy to be following in the footsteps of my dad, Ralph Tursi and my uncle, Donald Cola.
What is your occupation away from Mummery?
I am currently attending Eastern Regional High School in Voorhees NJ. Once I am done school, I will be focusing on a career as an electrician.
